Current

Because Bank Trauma Is Better Shared.

Everyone has a banking horror story.

The mystery fee. The declined card at the worst possible moment. The transfer stuck in limbo. The app that suddenly decides your money is none of your business.

So we turned all of it into a party game.

The Idea

Banks Against Humanity takes the frustrations people usually complain about privately and puts them on the table.

Literally.

Using the format of a fill-in-the-blank party game, we built prompts around the absurd little humiliations of traditional banking and let people finish the sentence themselves.

Instead of another financial brand saying banking is broken, we gave everyone the cards to prove it.

The Visual World

It had to feel like a real game, not branded merchandise pretending to be one.

Blunt cards. Sharp prompts. A box meant to be opened, passed around and slightly abused.

Against the beige, blue and painfully responsible visual language of finance, Current shows up louder: bright, direct and very much in on the joke.

The Build

We started with real banking pain points and wrote until they became playable.

Fees. Holds. Declines. Overdrafts. Customer service purgatory. The tiny moments that somehow make you question both your finances and your dignity.
